Last Weekend

The Milo Apex Running Clinic QC 5k Group :D

I told myself I won't let the weekend pass without posting a blog entry. (Oh, it's the weekend again! I didn't notice :P) The past weekend (and the past week as well) just held too many blessings and I would like to write about all the things I've been so grateful for:

Last Saturday's Shoot

Killing time before we go on a tour.

Crap it's so cold. I didn't realize it would be this cold here. Anyhoot..

Last Saturday, Erron Ocampo posted on Facebook: "VIP Ninong today, CJ Corona."

Dylan of Vatel Manila replied: "Si Sec. Bert Romulo and Shalani & Roman naman here at the Farm. Pero winner kung si CJ!"

I wanted to comment: "Guess who's at our shoot today? The freakin' singer/composer of the song, Seiko wallet (ang wallet na masuwerte)":

He was really funny, like your favorite lolo. He didn't sing the Seiko jingle but he sang "It's a Wonderful World" beautifully.

Yesterday's Shoot

It seems that I've been posting unintentionally about what I do every Saturday. Except for the uniforms, there isn't really much to shoot/write about regarding my 9-5 (or ideally, 8-4:30 hehe) life at the office, so that explains it.

Yesterday, I tagged along with a photographer friend, Stanley Ong, as he took family portraits of the Babao family - Julius, Tintin, and their two adorable kids, Anya and Nio, at their home. I was amazed at the modern art pieces all over the house. I just assisted for the entire shoot (and had servings of pancit, bbq and sans rival right after. Hehe). They're such a happy, stress-free family. :)

Last Saturday

August 13-14 was supposed to be spent with PiPho in Las Casas, Bataan for a local photo op, but then I decided not go when a shooting gig for The Stork Studio came up for August 13. (Also, I realized I didn't have enough funds anymore for another out of town trip. Hehe). Within the week, I was given another shooting opportunity, also for August 13 but at a different time. It was for the Tinghun or engagement party of Joel Pedro and Carolyn Tan-Chi, the youngest daughter of CCF Senior Pastor, Peter Tan-Chi. I knew it was going to be a tight day, but I was thankful for the opportunities and I was excited to shoot both events.
