Fluttering by

I was deleting old files in my hard drive the other day when I came across this photo. It was taken during a church ceremony on a wedding shoot I covered at the Church on a Hill in Tagaytay (while I was still a VA/volunteer assistant for Imagine Nation).

Yesterday, I was in Tagaytay the whole day with church friends. I suddenly remembered that around this time last year, I was in Tagaytay almost every weekend for wedding shoots.

This week made me realize how much I miss shooting weddings. Hoping for more shoots in the future.

Yesterday's Shoot

It seems that I've been posting unintentionally about what I do every Saturday. Except for the uniforms, there isn't really much to shoot/write about regarding my 9-5 (or ideally, 8-4:30 hehe) life at the office, so that explains it.

Yesterday, I tagged along with a photographer friend, Stanley Ong, as he took family portraits of the Babao family - Julius, Tintin, and their two adorable kids, Anya and Nio, at their home. I was amazed at the modern art pieces all over the house. I just assisted for the entire shoot (and had servings of pancit, bbq and sans rival right after. Hehe). They're such a happy, stress-free family. :)

Bonding Over Food

Two Saturdays ago, my college kabarkada, Penny and I (who are now in the same d12 group in CCF) volunteered to assist at the Special Parenting Talk at CCF. Right after, we headed to Cafe Breton, Podium for their La Pinay, which is mango crepe with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. I just had to take a photo before we devoured it. Hehe. I love relaxed Saturdays like this. :)
