After our sausage buffet AND giant cream puff dessert at Schmidt's, my sister brought the family to Pistacia Vera, also located at the German Village, where they sell good French macarons. The macarons cost $1.25 or around 53 Pesos per piece. I don't understand why they're so expensive in any region but I love it too much so I don't really mind.
This is the part where we were left on the other side of the street because Patti had a foot injury.

Not yet satisfied, we went to Jeni's Ice Cream also in Columbus. The shop looks so lomo-ish and very tumblr-able. Oh, and they serve great ice cream too :)
