Barre3?

Last month, I was supposed to get a Fitness First coupon from Deal Grocer. Deal Grocer members only have to pay P400 for a three month (or was it 6 weeks?) unlimited access to the gym. It was sold out quickly though, so I scanned the Deal Grocer website for other promos and found a promo on "Barre3". I had no idea what it is, but Angel Aquino's the model in the website so I guess it can't be all bad. Haha. (FYI, it was my first Deal Grocer purchase. Then I signed up for Ensogo and now I check their websites everyday. I didn't know these sites can be addictive :P)

On goals and running

As mentioned this morning (on my previous entry. Two entries in a day. I must have too much time on my hands), I went to UP to go running/biking. I know I've been running consistently (missing 1 or 2 days at the most), but I wanted to find a good running program for beginners that would help me progress gradually. After googling, I found this The Couch-to-5k Running Plan. I remember reading this in Jill's blog a while back, but I didn't pay much attention then. I figured, since I've been running for more than two weeks now, I'd plunge into the Week 4 routine. I did and I was so exhausted after. It took me less than two rounds to go around the UP oval, but I was still so tired. I walked on my way to the car, got my bike and went around the oval five times. 'Then walked around the oval once for cool down. I didn't realize running/biking takes so much time. I arrived in UP with the sun still up, and I went home at almost dinner time. Or maybe I'm just slow. Hehe.

Holy Wednesday

So we decided to stay in for the Holy Week. I was half-expecting that we'd go to La Union for two days or so, or at least, out of town for a day trip, but no one wants to get out of Manila for the holidays. I hope I could still go to the beach this summer.

I've been meaning to post this entry months ago, but I never had the time and patience to finish it until now. I've been stuck with the first paragraph for the longest time. Caveat, it's a long one, and it's probably the first time I'm writing about one of those things left unsaid for the past (almost) two years in my previous blog. 'Hope it makes the slightest sense. Hehe :)
